Cheese Post 3 of 12

Ile de France Suprême. Click the link for a nice little story about it. It's part of this blog's free cheese saga.

Talk about gilding the lily--the cheese is more or less brie with crème fraîche mixed in. But The CFT is not one to shy away from milk fat, so the cheese was put in a bowl and mixed with salt, pepper, and some fresh oregano. The cheese mix was then spread on some quality baguette and ran under a broiler for a short bit.

Simple and tasty. That shouldn't be too surprising though--it's really just an open faced grilled cheese sandwich.
