Soup To Go

Seriously better than ramen. Udon noodles in pork stock with just a bit of sriracha, ginger, and soy sauce. Garnishes are grated carrot and rainbow chard ("five color silverbeet") thinnings. Yesterday we had a cleanup at the community garden, today I ate some extra seedlings--summer is coming.

And the "To Go" part. The pork is salted or frozen and The CFT is taking a little spring break. I hear all the kids head to Mexico, so why not? Oaxaca to be exact. Any suggestions? I'd be much obliged.

So posting may be scarce for the next week or so. Then I'll likely come back and write an epic one like this from last year. See you then.

El Naranjo just off the plaza. Great food. At least it was 9 years ago. And Susana Trilling's place.

Nice, thanks. 9 years ago. Man, I'm so behind the times.

If it's any consolation, I'm dying to go back. Have fun!

Safe travels and have a wonderful time as I have no doubt you will.

I'm looking forward to seeing all your pics and reading about your adventures.

Thanks for putting a link to my new blog on your site. I was tickled to see that.
