A Priceless Lesson in Cooking

I'm not going to sully this up with too much text.  The short of it is that recipes, in note form, for a traditional American lard crust apple pie and a traditional French tarte Normande are below (thanks VA), and Parker Bosley knows how to give a cooking class.  Totally hands on, super educational, and just a really good time.  And sorry Karen, for drinking you out of house and home.
Parker came with two completed doughs so we'd
have pies baking while we made doughs to take home.

We were a little light on the almond mixture

 All in all, pretty redic.

Look at that man supervising the ladies.
Karen Small and Parker Bosley.  Local Food 4 Life.
And for all of us Clevelanders, at least those who like to eat the good food, it doesn't get much more amazing than that last picture.  Two of the most passionate people I've ever met.

You can read all the books you want, but when you have the chance to learn from people like this...well...you ask questions and listen. Love stuff like this.

I think that this group wins for the most cooking talent in one kitchen in Cleveland that night.
