Is this local?

Walleye

Brussels Sprouts

Parsley

Capers

Olives

Olive Oil

Lemon

Espelette Pepper

Salt

First three ingredients are from here.  Remaining six are not.  Thoughts?

In a word, yes. The non-local ingredients are in small quantities, and the basis of the dish is local. Before food got shipped around, much of Europe subsisted on meat and cabbage. Both are good but would get really tiresome. Chocolate supposedly became unbelievably popular when it came in. And I can't think of any even halfway decent substitutes for lemon, capers or olives. Going primarily local is great, but we're lucky to live in a time where not everything has to be.

Local enough for me. There are people with more time on their hands than I, that can nitpick every aspect of their food's origin. I've got shit to do. Sorry.
