How was it? I was invited also, but I've been too sick to party. (Feeling better now.)
Glad to hear you're feeling better. In short, it wasn't too great. I had high hopes, especially from Waxman, but I think he kind of mailed it in--flavorless pasta wasting away in pan that didn't hold up well for group service. Kaplan made a stuffed bun that was okay, but very light on filing and a hot dough ball in the middle of summer wasn't too awesome. It's crazy that two pros with corn as theme ingredient were doing hot, dough based dishes. Maybe I was expecting too much.
