Tell us more! What kind of meat? What was the green veggie?

Looks delicious, BTW.

Hello Ladies.

The meat is "stew meat" from Millgate Farm at Shaker. Very good grass fed beef. The stew has ruttabega and carrots from Blissful Acres, onions from Snake Hill Farm, chicken stock, red wine, and red wine vinegar. The meat and veggies were cooked off in lard from Country Gristmill. The base is mashed and cooked down pumpkin from Blissful Acres and the greens are turnip greens (which were also sauteed in lard and piqued with hot sauce). All the vendors/farms are at Shaker.

Thanks for asking.

The next stew like thing is in the oven now. It's a Midwestern version of lamb carnitas, if there can be such a thing.
